HEALTHY EATING CHALLENGE

Spring is coming! Wahoo! That means less layers, bulky sweaters, and ... exposure to those few extra pounds. It's time to get rid of the mid-winter weight and blues! It's time for a healthy eating challenge and I'd love for you to join me! The only thing it will cost you is your bad eating habits and hopefully an inch or two around the waist - just in time for warm weather dressing. What do you say? Are you ready to motivate each other to be healthy, look fabulous and feel great for the spring season?
This challenge is all about simplicity! The details come from my fabulous trainer Aleesa Compton, who is one of the healthiest, most beautiful people I know. Here's how it works:
Every day you can earn up to 7 points....
There is one free meal allowed once a week and one treat allowed once a week, but you must stay in your caloric range! If you do not eat a free meal or treat, you get two bonus points that week.
Every week you can earn up to 49 points!
The challenge starts Tuesday, February 16, you must commit before then. It ends eight weeks later. There will be one or two winners .... whoever gets the most points over this 8 week challenge and whoever has the highest weight-loss percentage, (I will send you the link for this). One person might win both categories and take it all!
If you choose to accept the challenge...your quality of life will change dramatically. You will have more energy, you will sleep better, you will be able to focus more clearly, feel happier, calmer, and just over-all BETTER.
Everyone will weigh in every Tuesday morning and send me the results. I will resend the results to everyone. You can be like a roller derby queen and use a pseudo-name, to protect your privacy, or your real name, less fun but works. Invite your friends. Let's do this!

- 1 pt for logging into myfitnesspal and staying under your caloric goal (This one is really important. Accountability is key.)
- 1 pt for drinking at least 64 ounces of water daily
- 1 pt for no soda/sugar
- 1 pt for 1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
- 1 pt for eating 5 servings of fruits and/or veggies (about 1/2 cup is a serving size)
- 1 pt for not eating after 8pm
- 1 pt for exercising at least 45 minutes 5 days a week (intense or a leisurely walk) anything!!
