7 Savvy Style Tips for Holiday Parties

Often the lights are dim at holiday parties. While weaving lights or ornaments into your ugly Christmas sweater is an option, there are classier ways to get noticed. Wearing clothing, make-up and accessories that are light in color or reflect the evening light adds interest and life to your party-wear.  Here are a few ideas:

1. Try wearing a color palette with winter white or ivory and camel with gold accessories. Monochromatic? Yes.  Boring? No.  The varied textures in the fur, leather, and metal create interest and classic harmony.
