When I was a girl, my mom used to sew dresses for me and my sisters for some of the major holidays. Christmas, Easter, and occasionally Thanksgiving. The first two holidays had dresses, usually fitted at the waist dresses, that looked amazing when twirling in them. Then there was the Thanksgiving dress, which always allowed room to grow. She was definitely onto something. Why not enjoy the best low stress holiday of the year with clothes that are equally pretty and comfortable. Yes, stretchy pants are still an option, but a little more polish reminds us that the dark days of covid hibernation are in the past.
